PASTOR SAM MORGAN
Reverend Dr. Samuel E. Morgan arrived in Fresno in 1986 on a track and field scholarship from
Southern California. As a member of the track and field team at California State University,
Fresno. Rev. Morgan contributed his talents in securing 4 conference championship titles in the
P.C.A.A. Pacific Coast Athletic Association and Big West Conferences. During his time at CSUF
he was an active participant in the (F.C.A.) Fellowship of Christian Athletes, afforded him the
opportunity to connect with the community through the sharing of his testimony throughout
Fresno County and community service projects and numerous outreach endeavors. His various
organizational and outreach involvements, afforded him the opportunity to connect with the
community through the sharing of his testimony throughout Fresno County. As one of the
founding members and vice-president of the local chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity
incorporated at Fresno State, he was able to become more involved in community events where
he developed and garnered a sense of belonging and purpose to those which he served. Rev.
Dr. Morgan completed his undergraduate degree in 1991, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Psychology.
His driven desire to continue to help others, motivated him to return to school in 1995, where he
pursued and completed a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from National University in
1997. His work within the community afforded him the ability to observe a need to effectively
serve people through therapeutic and counseling services.
Rev. Dr. Morgan began his ministerial career at the Westside Church of God in 1998, serving as
the 1 st youth pastor to be hired on as staff, under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Paul L. Binion
II. He successfully served in that capacity for 5 years before becoming an associate minister,
serving the church in the area of congregation. In 2001, he became a licensed minister in the
Church of God and as a result of his diligence and steadfast work within the church, he was
ordained in 2008. Holding the position of Minister of Congregational Care, he had the
responsibility of serving and meeting the needs of the congregation with pastoral care,
premarital/marital and grief counseling, food and housing insecurities and crisis intervention.
With his responsibility growing within the church and his constant tutelage from Reverend Dr.
Paul L. Binion II, he completed his Doctoral degree in Christian Counseling from Ecclesia
University of Divinity, International, in 2012. By completing this degree Rev. Dr. Morgan was
able to hone in on his passions, which included the word of God, clinical and psychological
counseling. After years of exceptional service and faithfulness to the church and community
Reverend Dr. Morgan was elevated to assistant pastor in July of 2020.
Rev. Dr. Morgan not only exemplifies dedication at church he also serves as example of his
persistence and determination in creating equity across socioeconomic classes in his career.
Currently holding the position of Director of Disabled Students Program and Services within the
State Center Community College District, where he works to provide opportunities for s with
disabilities. This door was opened after serving a combined total of 16 years as a program
manager at Central Valley Regional Center and Executive Director for Resources for
Independence.
Rev. Dr. Morgan has been happily married to his wife, Bridgette of 27 years. The two have
prospered in their careers as well as raised 3 children. Their continued work in the community,
church and careers speaks volumes to the many blessings they have been afforded along their
journey. His passion for the ministry, service to people and therapeutic foundations have all
contributed immensely to his unique ability to lead and connect to others.

PASTOR PAULETTE NORRIS
Reverend Paulette Norris is a native of Fresno, California. She is ordained and faithfully serves as the Associate Pastor at Westside Church of God under the tutelage of Pastor Paul Binion, II, Sr. Pastor. With the Love for God, and a clear understanding of her purpose in Christ, the Lord has given Rev. Norris a ministry to heal the wounded heart, the broken in spirit and to encourage others to step out on faith as they strive to reach their destiny in God. She desires to see all believers, especially women, spiritually, emotionally, and physically whole.
The Lord has taught Rev. Norris critical Biblical truths through personal testing as a single mother, dealing with the loss of a child, and living through blended family issues. God uses her message to draw believers into a personal and intimate relationship with God.
Rev. Norris interblends Biblical teachings with her own life stories of struggles and successes making God's Word come alive.
